Hello all!!
SO...... This week I am again posting on my new and only book Taming the Preachers Daughter.
Excerpt:
Savi felt all alone in the world, like no one would ever understand her. She was deep in thought when her cell phone rang, startling her. Even more startling, the caller ID showed that it was Eric. What, did he want to make more excuses for the church? If so, she didn’t want to hear it. She contemplated not even answering the phone, but her feelings for Eric won out over her stubborn anger. She could never deny him.
“Hey. Eric, if you're calling to tell me how wrong I am, I don’t want to hear it,” she answered with an attitude, not wanting to make things easy for him. He certainly wasn’t making them easy for her.
“I wasn’t going to say a thing, I was just wondering where you are. Everyone is pretty worried about you.” Eric’s voice was calm and cheerful, as if she hadn’t screamed at him in a crowded restaurant only hours before.
“It doesn’t matter,” Savi whimpered, her resolve breaking.
“It matters to me,” Eric assured her. “Where are you? I’ll come to you. We can talk.”
“I don’t want to hear any more excuses,” Savi snapped at him.
“I won’t talk, I’ll just listen,” Eric whispered.
Giving in, she told Eric where she was, the same spot on the beach that she had been all evening.
It didn’t take Eric more than a few minutes to get there; he must have been close by. When Eric arrived, he didn’t say a word, just sat down next to her in the sand. Savi didn’t speak either; she was all talked out. They sat there for hours in silence just watching the waves crash against the shore, eventually falling asleep together on the beach.
When Savi awoke, she noticed that Eric had stayed all night. She smiled. It made her feel like she truly mattered. She finally had Eric’s attention and it had nothing to do with the clothes she was wearing. It had to do with her heart; it had to do with who she really was.
***
Eric awoke to Savi looking down at him, he couldn’t believe someone could be that beautiful in the morning, but she was. He had enjoyed his time with Savi even though neither of them spoke; he truly enjoyed just being near her.
Eric knew that somehow he would have to make Savi understand that domestic discipline was done out of love, not anger. He would have to show her what love was and how domestic discipline bettered a marriage, if only she would give him the chance to make that happen. Eric had fallen in love with Savi that night. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, he saw the fire in her soul.
Eric knew that if he were going to show Savi that discipline wasn’t a bad thing, he would have to earn her trust first. He knew he would have to show her compassion and listen to her. Savi had become the most important person to Eric, and he needed to show her that.

of being the perfect preacher's daughter, she wants to step out of her
father’s shadow.
Deciding to go against everything she has
been taught and wanting her first summer back from college to be a wild one,
she begins to party and she sets her sights on the local lifeguard Eric.
Eric has always had a place in Savi’s
heart, secretly she has always wanted to be with him.
After finding out that Eric attends her father’s church and
realizing what her father’s church really practices, Savi goes on a downward
spiral. Can love conquer her fears?
Excerpt:
He grabbed her neck and pulled her in closer, she was sweet like honey. He could feel the passion behind her lips, and with a smile, he pulled away and rested his forehead on hers. He was breathless and full of regret when he spoke. “Savannah, we can’t be doing this.”
Savi grabbed his hand and pulled him to the couch. “I know, but there is something we can do. Well, rather, you can do.” She looked at him, gazing into his eyes meaningfully.
He could tell she was trying to tell him something, and he knew he should be getting it, but he just wasn’t. He looked at her blankly. “And what’s that?”
“You can spank me,” she said matter-of-factly.
“No, Savannah, we can’t. I can’t.”
“Yes, you can. I want you to. I have done some pretty bad things. I need this, we need this.”
He couldn’t believe what she was asking him to do. Isn’t this what got them into this situation to begin with?
“Eric, you told me that you needed this in your life, that it was your calling. Well, I need you in my life. You are my destiny; I can do this. I can do this for you.”
“I need a moment,” he told her as he walked away. His heart raced as he attempted to gather his thoughts.
Could he actually go through with this? They were already in a rocky place. Would this end them forever? He knew that domestic discipline was his calling, but was it hers? The first time had been a disaster, and Eric just didn’t know if he could do it again. Not only was she hurt the first time, he was too. She seemed sure this time, like she knew what she wanted, but could this actually work? He had to give it another chance; he had to give her another chance.
He walked back into the room and sat on the couch next to Savi. “Are you sure this is what you want?”
“If this is what I need to be with you, then a thousand times yes!”
Eric asked her to stand in front of him. He watched her face for signals that this wasn’t right, but she obeyed quickly and eagerly.
“Do you know why you are being punished?” Eric asked her.
Savi gave a slight nod.
“Are you sorry for your actions?”
“Yes.”
“Savi, please don’t speak.” He held up his hand, scared that if she did too much talking he wouldn’t be able to go through with it. “A nod will do for now.”
Slowly she nodded her head yes.
“I would like you bent over my knees. You know the position.”

And now on to the excerpt!
This was the most painful of the spankings
she had received. The burning of her bottom was intense, she tried to keep her
tears in, but she couldn’t. She knew she needed to learn to control her temper
and this was a good reminder of that.
Savi wanted Eric to stop, but at the same
time, she liked the physical contact. Her rear end was on fire and she couldn’t
handle the stinging sensation.
“Okay Savannah, are you ready to have an
adult conversation now?”
“Yes!” She said with passion. She couldn’t
wait to get off the table and pull her dress back down over her backside. She
knew she had deserved the spanking, but it was still embarrassing.
“When I let you up, I need you to sit down at
the table and let me speak until I tell you I am done , do you understand?”
Savi shook her head up and down ferociously,
just wanting to get off the table. Eric asked her to sit down, so she quickly
pulled the skirt of her dress down and plopped herself into the chair. As her
bottom made contact with the chair, it began to throb. She tried to grin
through the pain, but it became too much for her, she sat at an angle so her
sit spots wouldn’t have contact with the chair.
“Let’s try this again. I think it’s time that
you started attending church again. I can tell from our previous attempts at
this conversation that you do not agree. Is that correct?”
Savi shook her head no.
“No, it’s not? Then why don’t you enlighten me. What
do you think should happen?”
“I have no problem attending church, I just don’t want to go to my dad’s church......
