Missing

Sorry I have been missing from blog land for a while. The stomach flu hit our house and it hit hard! It got us all one by one didn't miss a soul.

On a better note, I decided to write a couple short stories staring Savi. I have one 98% done and another is running through my mind. So that is the project I currently have going on in my life.

So..... I have been watching my reviews on Taming the Preachers Daughter closely, as I like to see everyone's thoughts on my first baby. They have all been positive except one, and to be honest, it doesn't bother me too much, but it has got me thinking. My book is CDD and it does quote biblical text's that I see as relevant to a CDD relationship, something that I think is important. While most of you have not mentioned to be bothered by it one has, and even called my book scummy. Do you as my readers find my biblical references revolting? Would you prefer for me to omit the actual verses?

Please let me know what you think!

  1. I wouldn't let one review make you re-think everything you've done. If however you are wanting to change it, or do something more subtle then do so. This is the first CDD book I have read, and I'm not big on bible verses in my romance. I don't think it added necessarily but it's didn't detract. It's all about the story that you are telling. I hope you feel better soon!

  2. I read a lot of Inspirational romance. Not so much CDD but a lot of general inspirational. They ALL have Bible verses. Without Bible verses, they wouldn't be Christian. I saw that review - I think it was plain nasty. I don't see the point in posting a negative review, especially an insulting one like that. I thought the Bible verses you used were great.
