A little bit about me

I thought I would give you all little information about me, so I am more of a person instead of just another blog.

I am a thirty something mother of four. I have one son who is the oldest and three little girls who like to drive him CRAZY! I married my best friend eight years ago. He is the best husband and father a person could ask for, and no I am not just saying that. He does more for me and my kids than any of us really deserve. We also have a new addition to our home, our little four legged friend, Lola. Lola is a purebred Staffordshire terrier who is almost five months old. She has been a great addition to our family.

You could say that I am new to the writing scene. Taming the Preacher's Daughter  is the first/only book I have ever submitted to a publisher. I was surprised to see that someone besides family and friends actually liked it. Writing has always been a passion of mine whether it was me jotting down some ideas or reading my favorite author's new book. If I'm not reading I am writing.

I am currently working on my AAOT about to graduate and move on to a university to work on my bachelors degree then on to a masters degree. I will be majoring in liberal studies with a specialization in History and English (back to my love of reading and writing). My goal is to become a high school History teacher. I know far from what I write about.

I am currently a DD author, only have one book written and working on two more. I have not practiced DD, however, it is something I like to read and write about. I am trying to convince my husband it's a good thing, he thinks I am crazy.

Well, that is all  I have for now. Feel free to ask a question or two or even some feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of love,

Danielle

Oh yes, The woodshed

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, there hasn't been much to say. But now there is!!!!

I am so excited to announce that my first book is available on Bethany's woodshed!!

For those of you who do not know what that is, its a members only spanking stories web site. Bethany's Woodshed had been the place to go for the spanking stories since 1998. Check it out at Her woodshed

My first book is titled:  Taming the Preacher's Daughter.

It's a coming of age love story centered around domestic discipline. I am so excited to share my first book with you all, hopefully it will be released on Ebook at the beginning of the new year.

I'll keep you all updated as the process moves on.

Blushing Books has accepted your manuscript for publication‏

I have never been more excited then I am now!! Well, minus my wedding and the birth of my children.

I am so overwhelmed with excitement! The few family members that know about my writing are thrilled as well. I can't believe this is actually happening!! My childhood dream come true, not many people can say that. Thanks to Blushing, I can.

I am at a loss for words, so I guess I will end this post now. Those who know me personally will be shocked by that :)

Book one done!

I finished my first book!

I can't believe I actually did it. I must say that writing isn't really the hard part, letting other people see what you wrote is. A friend of mine is editing it now, and then she will send it to her friend to edit too.

I'm not sure how I am going to feel after they have gutted my baby. I know it needs to be done, but when you work so hard on something and then they want to change it can really take a toll on you. I know they mean no harm, they are just helping me to better what I have written, but man oh man am I nervous!

Now on to the next one, I can't wait to get started. I have ideas for a second book and a prequel, I am hesitant to start in case this one flops. I guess we shall see.

Once again feel free to follow me on Facebook and Twitter

Little Samanthas Choice.

Today I am going to share the current book that I am reading:

This is my first exposure to age play. I wasn't sure what I would be getting myself into. I was pleasantly surprised by the story line, this book is definitely a page turner. Whether age play is your thing or not,  I would recommend this book. The main focus is age play, but there are some hot scenes that have nothing to do with it. Jackson and Samantha are one sexy couple. Meredith is a wonderful author and she really outdid herself.

Here is a little blurb:

After twenty-five-year-old Samantha Briggs leaves an initially minor sickness untreated, the illness worsens quickly and she ends up feverishly sleeping the weekend away. Her husband, Jackson, stays by her side and sees to all of her needs. But when she wakes up wearing a diaper and footie pajamas, she is furious. Jackson apologizes, but he does admit that he has always yearned to care for Samantha like a loving daddy.

Samantha is shaken by this revelation, but after some reading and some thinking, she agrees to try being Jackson’s little girl. She soon finds herself happily immersed in a land of games, dolls, bedtime stories, and her daddy’s loving care for her every need. She isn’t sure how she feels about wearing a diaper, and she definitely doesn’t like the spankings she gets when she’s naughty, but the peaceful surrender that comes with being her daddy’s little girl makes her feel as though every stressful part of her life has been erased.

Samantha and Jackson fall into a routine: she is an adult on the weekdays, and a little girl—and sometimes a baby—on the weekends. But when she slips up and embarrasses herself by behaving childishly during a stressful morning at work, she reconsiders their new relationship. Will she give up the lifestyle she’s grown to love so much, or can she come to accept that there is nothing wrong with choosing to be her daddy’s little girl?

Publisher’s Note: Little Samantha’s Choice is an erotic novel that contains spankings, age play, anal play, elements of BDSM, sexual scenes, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Stuck

I have been writing my book for about two weeks now, and I am now stuck. It's time for them to make up, but I don't want it to be your typical happily ever after.

My heroine is a feisty one who likes to stand her ground. She does what she wants when she wants it. The hero is cool, calm and collected, he loves her feisty side but wants her to be a little more reserved.

Where to go from here? I'll let you know when I figure it out.

Just the begining

I am new to this thing they call blogging and writing, but boy am I enjoying myself. When I was a young girl I always dreamed of writing books, but I never had enough self confidence. I would write something and then throw it away for fear of judgement, I did this for years until I finally just gave up on writing. I still have no confidence in what I am writing, but I am determined to finish, even if no one ever sees it.

I am in the middle of a coming of age Domestic Discipline story. I knew nothing about about Domestic Discipline a few weeks go, but then I read a few books containing it. I find it so intriguing and intimate. I am now reading just about any blog, I can get my hands on just so I can learn more. I am more than excited to finish this book and learn more and more about Domestic Discipline. If you have any helpful tips or just a piece of advice I'd love to hear it.

I am nervous that one day someone might actually read what I have written. This is all just a crazy whirlwind. I am very excited to see if this can open any doors for me. Maybe I'll get published maybe I won't. One thing I do know is that I will be fulfilling a passion I have always had. The hardest thing for me so far is writing in third person, how do you guys do that? When I wrote before, I always wrote in the first person, and maybe next time I will. But for now, third person it is.

Sorry for all the rambling. Maybe one day I'll figure this all out.
